Rain halts cricket match between Uttrakhand and Nagaland region teams

Match between Uttrakhand and Nagaland region part of Vinu Makand Trophy washed away due to heavy rains in Bhubaneshwar city.
The match was scheduled to be played at the Vikas Cricket Ground of Bhubaneshwar city. Uttrakhand team’s skipper won the toss but the match was called-off without featuring match between both the teams.
Match officials awarded 2 points each for both the teams and Uttrakhand teams carry very thin chances of progressing to the final stage of the tournament as the team has already lost its previous match against Bihar team.
At present Dehradun team has affixed its positioning at 6th spot of the competition. Manipur team with 12 points in last three matches is ruling the points table.
