On the 2nd day of the 64th National Schools Championship in Hockey in Ludhiana. Punjab defeat SBSC Welfare Sports Association XI by 16-0 in girls category. Telangana defeat IPSE by 3-2, Delhi drew Kerala by 1-1 and Rajasthan thrashed DAV 15-0.
Match of boys took place at Prithipal Singh Memorial Astroturf Stadium where Punjab Agricultural University, CISE defeat Uttarakhand by 5-3, Bihar defeat Jammu and Kashmir by 1-0, Chhattisgarh defeat Madhya Pradesh by 2-0 and Telangana defeat Kerala by 3-2.
Girls category matches played at Guru Nanak Public School, Haryana. Haryana defeat Gujarat by 9-0, Tamil Nadu defeat UP by 2-0, Karnataka defeat Uttarakhand by 4-0, Rajasthan defeat Vidya Bharti by 22-1 and Orissa beat Puducherry by 4-0.
In sqay martial arts competition of girls below 36-kg category Ravya from Punjab bagged 1st position, Munisha from Delhi got 2nd spot and Adhiti Saxena from Vidya Bharti got 3rd position. In the below 40-kg category, Amanpreet Kaur from Punjab bagged 1st position, Himani from Delhi got 2nd position and Sakshi Nitin from Maharashtra and Fariyat Begum from Orissa both bagged 3rd position.
