Punjab School Games: Manav Mangal top the ranks with six Gold

Students of Manav Mangal Smart World, Zirakpur, won a rich haul of seven medals, including six gold, during the Punjab School Games, Inter-School Zonal tournament. Around 100 students from various schools participated in the two-championship, which concluded in Mohali on Thursday. Manav Mangal shuttlers dominated the field in the U-14 and U-17 age-groups in both the boys’ and girls’ categories, while their paddlers topped the podium in the boys’ and girls’ U-14 competitions. They also finished second in boys’ U-17 contest. Principal Aneela Kinder appreciated the performance of students and also congratulated badminton coach Lobli and table tennis coaches Satish and Aniket for their contributions.
