Punjab Men’s team becomes Junior National Hockey Champions

Punjab’s team won 4-2 against a strong Jharkhand side in the final match to clinch the Junior National Hockey Championship (A division). In the women’s junior category, Jharkhand triumphed by 4-2 over Haryana in the final to be crowned the champions.
Hockey Gangpur (Odisha) finished in the third place in both the men’s and the women’s category. It beat Odisha by 6-1 in the men’s section while it won by 2-1 against Uttar Pradesh.
