Private Schools dominates Day 01 of Sports Meet

Sports Meet launched by Education Department finally hits the stage on Thursday, the three day event will be played for 3 days at different school’s venue in the region. On the Day 01 of the Sports Meet, Taekwondo, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi and Lawn Tennis matches of Girls’ category were played.
Private School dominated the inaugural day of the event with ace performances of different school’s girls. The Lawn Tennis matches of the event was played at the Sports Complex of Sector 12.
Ahana claims medal in Taekwondo Games
Taekwondo games were played at the Rajkiya School located in Samaypur Badli region. In Girls U 14, 24 to 26 kg matches Ahana Garg attained the top position in the tournament. In 26 to 29 kg category, Suhani formed her positioning at the top spot.
Ishani emerged as Long Jump games Winner
In the U 19 category girls matches of long jump, sector 19 resident Ishani marked her positioning at the top spot. The runner-up of the long jump matches was Liha of Vidhya Sagar School and Ashoka Memorial School’s Yogita clinched the third spot in the In the Shotput event Aravali School’s student claimed the top spot followed by Harshita of Vidhya Sagar School and Isha.
In the Shot-Throw event, Faridabad Convent School’s harshita claimed the top pot followed by Sakshi of Sector 19, DPS and Faridabad Convent School’s Palak Solanki at the third position.
