Popularity of Poker on the rise in India

With sports becoming more and more popular in India, it is no surprise that the newest edition to the bandwagon is the high stakes game of Poker. Brain Duel Sports is a one of a kind sports league which will be launched in October. It will start with 3 sports- Poker, Rummy and Chess.
The format will be team-based, with regional teams competing on a national level for cumulative prizes of more than Rs 5 crore during a three-day brain games festival in New Delhi. There is provison to add other sports such as Soduku, Bridge and quizzing later on.
