Online writing competition at school

Akharkari campaign, an initiative by Krishan Kumar, Secretary Education, Punjab, to improve handwriting of teachers and students was launched a few weeks ago in which online workshops and seminars were organised.
Online writing competitions were organised at the school-level under the guidance of Head Teacher Sukhdhir Sekhon at Government Primary School, Moti Nagar.
In the competition, Chandni of Class V got the first position and Ankit of Class V bagged the second spot. From Class IV Priya and Aarti got first and second position, respectively .
Area councillor Vaneet Bhatia and others who were present who distributed tracksuits, masks and gift hampers to winners to boost their confidence.
Sekhon said they keep on organising such activities in school to maintain interest of students in studies and extra curricular activities. He also thanked Anisha Modi and Sonia Kumar for motivating students by distributing gift hampers. At this occasion staff members Sharmila Rani, Meenakshi, Kishan Singh, Gurpreet Kaur and Ritika were present.
