Odisha’s Jyoti Kumari scored 7 goals in Hero Junior Girls’ National Football Championship

Hero Junior Girls’ National Football Championship is going on in Kolhapur where in Kerala won over Punjab by 3 points in the 2nd encounter of Group H. After winning the match Kerala moved into quarter-finals. Nandana Krishnan, Malavika P and Arya V scored against Punjab.
Other match of Group H, Mizoram and Andhra Pradesh, Mizoram won the match by 7-0. Lalrinmuani scored 3 goals, Gladys Zonunsangi scored 2 goals and Ruth Vanlalpeki and Lalnunsiami scored 1 goal each. Himachal Pradesh also moved into the quarterfinals by registering a 4-0 victory against hosts Maharashtra in Group G.
Odisha also sealed their place in the quarterfinals with a by making a victory of 13-0 over Pondicherry. Jyoti Kumari scored 7 times, Manisha Naik scored 3 goals and Subhasmita Das, Malati Munda and Salge Majhi took a goal each.
