NSG U19 Kho-Kho Championship gets underway

Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Sanjeev Verma, on Wednesday declared open 65th National School Games Under-19 Boys Kho-Kho Championship at Khel Gaon, Nagrota, here.
Director General (DG), Youth Services and Sports, Dr Saleem-ur-Rehman, Principal Sainik School Nagrota, Lieutenant Colonel Pawan Kumar, galaxy of dignitaries besides locals were present on the occasion.
Verma, while addressing on the occasion, said that it is appreciable that the Centre as well as the Government of Jammu and Kashmir are taking numerous initiatives towards promotion of sports in every nook and corner of the Union Territory with emphasis on rural area sports talent.
