CBSE North Zone Swimming Competition 2018 entered its 3rd Day on Wednesday. Swimmers from different clusters and zones of Uttrakhand, Badaun, Baghpat, Bijnour, Bulandshahar, Gautam Budh Nagar, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Amroha, Meerut, Muradabad, Muzaffarnagar, Rampur, Saharanpur, Sambhal and Shamli district marked their presence on the Day 03 of competition.
400m Individual Medlay Boys Under-19 was the first event of the day, Rahul Lamba of DPS Noida attained the top position while Aryan Gupta of Kothari International School was named as the runnerup of the competition. The same event for girls classified names of Navya Singal of DPS Noida as winner followed by Deepa Yadav of Dehradun Public School.
100m Free Style Under 11 Boys scheduled for Day 03 named Yashvardhan Chauhan of Vidya Global School, Meerut region as the winner and Kshitj Goel of Kothari International School, Noida next in line. The 100m Free Style event for Under 11 Girls mentioned Shreya Surana of DPS Noida as the winner and Priyani Singh DMI Modi Puram, Meerut as runner up.
100m Free Style ace for age group Under 14 Boys marked Dhruv Pandey of Kothari International School as ace performer followed by Aryan Chikara of DAV Public School in Sahibabad. Event no 6 offered chances for Under 14 Girls in same category with Manya Bisht Bal Bharti School Noida as winner and Sneha Patnaik of DPS Greater Noida classified as runner-up.
100m Free Style for Boys and Girls Under 17 category named Rishyant Singh of DAV, Sahibabad as the top performer followed by Sahil Panjwani of Lotus Valley International School. Disha Bhandari and Nihara Sawhney of DPS Noida and Step By step School were the top performer in Girls category.
100m Free Style race for Under 19 Boys and Girls formed great chances for Kartik Ravi and Shashwat Chaube of DPS Ghaziabad and Lotus Valley School as top performer. Navya Singhal along with Anushka Agarwal of DPS Noida and Ecole Global School were highlighted as top performing girls.
50m Back Stroke event for Girls under 17 named Arya Singh of DPS Noida as the winner and Krtvi Trehan of Step By Step School as the runner up. Same event for boys named Shashwat Chaube along with Saket Kumar Singh as the top performer.
Event no 16 of Day 03 was 50m Back Stroke Girls Under 19. Sanjana Arora and Shreya Subhash of Kothari International School and Khaitan Public School near Sahibabad were the top performer. The other event 100m Back Stroke for girls Under 14 named Rajat Dhapola and Rajvardhan Nayal of St. Teresa School and Nirmala Convent Senior Sec School Kathgodam as the leading performer. The 100m Breast Stroke for Under 14 Girls named Ananya Singh and Arushi Singh of DPS Greater Noida and Arushi Singh of DPS Noida as top two spot holders.
100m Back Stroke Boys under 17 named Uddanta Jain of Step By Step School as the winner followed by Milind Negi of Bal Bharti School Noida. Same event for Under 17 girls glorified Kaushki Singh of Gyan Shri Public School as the winner and Simran Singh as the runner up.
Back Stroke 100m for Boys Under 19 named Kartik Ravi of DPS Ghaziabad as top performer and Rahul Lamba as the runner up of the competition. Tejal Verma and Ritisha Dhapola of DPS Noida and St. Teresa School Kathgodam outshined in girls category of same event.
4X100 Medlay Relay for Under 14 Boys was won by Kothari International Team with players Dhruv Pandey, Shradul Singh and Manthan Chawla. DAV School Ghaziabad were the runner up of the 4X100 Medlay Relay. Same event of Girls Under 14 named DPS Noida as the winner with team Soham, Arushi Singh, Ananya Agarwal and Eshani Mohan.
200m Breast Stroke Race named Arjun Batra of Kothari International School as winner and Hardik Daka of DPS Noida. Girls under 19 in same event named Tjal Verma DPS Noida as winner and Siya of St. Teresa School as runner-up.
4X50m Free Style Relay for Boys Under 11 was overpowered by DPS Sec Gamma Team while Step By Step School triggered the runner up spot. The team event for Girls Under 11 formed winning chances for DPS Noida and Step By Step School team grabbed runner up spot.
