Noida region tennis players dominates ‘YoGems NCR Open Tennis Championship’

‘YoGems’ initiated 2018 edition of NCR Open Tennis Championship for school level tennis players of Delhi and NCR region. The ‘Paperless’ Tournament scheduled at the Aryan Tennis Academy of Noida Sector-33 collected great response from Delhi and NCR region school’s student.

Witnessing great response from the tennis players, the championship has grabbed around 300 registrations in both boys & girls categories from all-over Delhi and NCR region in U 8, U 10, U12, U14 and U 16 age categories. The four days tennis fest with name ‘YoGems NCR Open Tennis Championship 2018’ was started on 29th September and will continue till 02nd October 2018.

Semifinals and Final matches of all the playing categories is scheduled on 02nd October from 08.am onwards. Aspirants can check live feedbacks and results of the matches at www.yogems.com

On Day 01 of the tournament Under 10 age category matches and Girls Under 10 matches commenced. The tournament started with face-off between Lakshya Sinha of Lotus Valley School and Harsh Yadav of Deep Memrial Public School in Boys Under 12 age category. Lakshya Sinha grabbed 3-0 easy win in the match and progressed for the next round. Daksh Singhal (Apeejay School) dominated the match against Adhiraj Singh (Genesis School) with 3-0 scoreline. Aarav Verma (Presidum School) attained walk-over against Dhruveer Grover in other Boys Under 12 match.

Tanishq Kaushik (DAV School) clinched win against Viraaj Verma (Somerville School) 3-0 scoreline. Kushagra Pal (DPS) and Jaskirat Singh(Vishwa Bharti School) succeeds to the next level of Under 12 rounds with walkovers. Mridul Singhal (Genesis Global School) clinched win against Eeshan Sarma with 3-0 score. Parth Sarthi (Bal Bharti School) and Kaustuv Paliwal (Parevartan School) progressed with walk-away to the next level of Under 12 matches. Arsh Vij (The Millennium School) performed edges above than Aditya Singh to turn out 3-2 win. Shaurya Bhardwaj , Hardik Jain and Samagra Singhal of Delhi Public School wins their individual matches.

Aryan Bansal(Lotus Valley School) and Advay Suri (DPS) succeeds with walkover. Kaavya Kala (Lotus Valley School) wins Girls U-10 battle against Tanvi Saraf with 3-1 scoreline, Pranshi Singh (Somerville School) attains walkover in the same category. In the Quarter-Final round of Girls Under 10, Sara Kandwal (Ryan International School) dominates against Kaavya Kala with 3-0 scoreline. The other two quarter finals of Girls Under 10 category named Aarini Saraswat (Vishwa Bharti School) and Avnee Gambhir (Mother’s Global School) as the semi-finalist.

Results Day 02:

On Sunday, 30 September Under 08, Under 12 and Under 14 category matches were scheduled. The day started with Under 08 category matches of both boys and girls categories. Yathartha Sharma (Somerville School) attained winning position against Kratin Aggarwal(Kothari International School) with score1-0. Anany Pandey (Gyanshree School) performed better in target hitting round against Trinay Sharma (Genesis Global School). Anushka Belwal (Ryan International School) wins Girls Under 14 match against Ahana Ghosh of (Alcohon School) with 4-1 scoreline.

Pratham Singh (Lotus Valley School) and Rishit Gupta (Cambridge School) wins their individual matches of Under 08 on walkover advantages. Satakshi Chaudhary (Ryan School) wins Girls Under 14 match against Jashan Bhinder (The Khaitan School) with 4-1 scoreline. Krish Shrivastava (Gurukul School) and Taanish Nanda (Gyanshree) claimed their individual matches of Under 08 age category with 1-0 score.

Quarter Final Match of Boys U-08 category named Pratham Singh (Lotus Valley School), Jaiwardhan Khatri (Amity School), Gative Solanki (Ryan International School), Taanish Nanda (Gyan Shree School) as the semifinalist of the particular categories.

Girls Under 08 category Quarter-Final matches highlighted names of Kriti Sharma (DPS), Taashi Goel (Lotus Valley School), Chitrakshi Kushwaha(Amity School) and Shreyanshi Parida (Lotus Valley School) as the semifinalist.

Quarter Final of Girls Under 14 category favored Shatakshi Chaudhary (Ryan School), Anushka Belwal(Ryan School), Ishi Maheshwari (Step By Step School) and Nafeesa Zafar (Bharti Public School) to play semifinal matches.

Boys Under 14 category matches offers next stage progression to Aditya Thapa, Spandhan Mohapatra, Arsalaan Aijaz, Yashkaran Duggal, Sarvesh Solanki, Ishaan Shyampuria, Samagra Singhal, Sarthak Pradhan, Aakash Gupta, Shaurya Bhardwaj, Anshul Gautam Aarav Kaul and Ishaan Sharma.

Results Day 03:

The Day 03 of the tournament started with quarter-final and semi-final matches of Under 16 categories along with Under 10 age category. Aryan Karthik (Jaipuria School) attains the winning spot against Amrit Chabra with 5-1 scoreline. Ahaan (Shiv Nadar School) reached the semifinal with win against Sarthak Pradhan with score 5-2.

In Girls U 16 quarter-final matches, Sanjami Arora (Kothari International School) clinches easy spot against Khushi Vishnoi (5-0), Anushka Belwal (Ryan International School) outperforms the match against Ishita Chauhan (5-1), Shambhavi Tripathi wins match against Pooja Shakya with 5-0 scoreline.

Girls u 16 semi final matches names Sanjami Arora (5-0) and Anushka Belwal (6-1) as the finalist. Boys Under 16 semi-final matches names Anhad Tulsi (5-1) and Ahaan Dhelkial (5-1) as the finalist of the particular category.

Quarter-Final match of Boys Under 12 age category named Lakshya Sinha (Lotus Valley International School) as the winner against Aarav. The other match of the Under 12 age category highlighted Samagara Singhal (DPS) as the winner against Shaurya Bhardwaj.
