It was time for ‘life skill lessons’ on the second day of the Basketball Without Borders Asia camp at the NBA Academy on Thursday.

Ryan Saunders, Darvin Ham and Ruth Riley spoke to the campers on the importance of team work and communication for a successful basketball experience.

The campers assembled for practice drills thereafter, using the three courts to compete in a series of 5-on-5 matches. The NBA players conducted a clinic for the 64 young players from the NBA basketball schools as part of the NBA’s community outreach efforts.

“This camp is a great opportunity for the Indian campers to learn from the best and see where they stand,” said Princepal Singh, one of the campers.

“You don’t get to play alongside the best in Asia every day and to train under the best in the world. It is a platform for all campers to showcase their talent and take in as much as possible from the best in the business,” said Amaan Sandhu, another camper.
