Navya and Mihir win Gurgaon District Chess Championship

The Mind Sharpner Chess Academy in Gurgaon played host to the Gurgaon District Chess Championship with the final being played on Sunday. It was held in Presidium School in Gurgaon. Over 100 participants took part in the event.
Navya Tayal emerged as the champion in the Girls’ Under 15 category while Mihir Godavat was awarded the first prize in the Boys’ Under 15 category. The 2-day competition was keenly contested and saw large number of enthusiastic players of all ages.
