Navodaya Vidyalaya outshines as winning team of cricket tournament

Three Days Cricket Tournament held at the ground of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Mothuka in Ballabhgarh marks its end on Wednesday with thriller final match amongst Patna and Jaipur division teams. Sumit of the Jaipur Division was named as the ‘Man of the Match’ of the final match.
MLA of the region Lalit Sharma enjoyed the complete match with gesture of being the Chief Guest of the closing ceremony. ACP of Tinganv Aman Yadav also joined the final match to boost-up the confidence of the participants.
MLA Lalit Sharma in his speech motivated all the students and spectators of the event to participate in ranging physical activities to attain physical fitness.
The final match of the 29th National Level Cricket Championship was played in between Jaipur Division and Patna Division. Players of Jaipur Division Navodaya Vidyalaya grabbed the winning spot in the game with 05 wickets haul.
Patna team after winning the toss decided to post a target for the opponent team. The team was not able of convert the offered chance into a great opportunity and scored just 64 runs in total. Jai Kishan and Jas Ram were the top performing bowlers for the Jaipur team as they collected 3 wickets each in the spell of the game.
Jaipur team battling down the miniature score posted by Patna in the final, achieved the target in just 11th over of the match with lost of 5 wickets.
Final match for the Under 17 age category match also favored the Jaipur Division against Patna Division. In the match, Jaipur posted a score of 78 runs with lost of all wickets in 18 overs play. Patna team were not able to knock down the chase challenged by the Jaipur team and their innings folded up thoroughly with just 32 runs on board.
Sumit was the best performer of the match as he hunted down 5 scalps of the opponent team in spell of three overs while expending just 11 runs.
Under 14 category matches ended with top notch competition amongst Lucknow and Patna team, the result of the match favored Lucknow team with just 1 wicket margin.
