National Games 2019 will held in November in Goa

National Games will take place in Goa, later this year. Indian Olympic Association have given the permition to Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar. The meeting took place between Mukesh Kumar chairman of the National Games technical and Parrikar for the final assurance. Meeting took place and Parrikar clearly mention that postponement of the 36th edition of the Games was in the best interest of everyone.
The CM explained the difficulties with elections approaching and the Games sandwiched between the electoral process which will see Goa going to polls for two Lok Sabha seats and two by elections. The state machinery will be engrossed with the elections. Gurudutta Bhakta secretary general of Goa Olympic Association said dates are finaled for November.
