Mithali Raj becomes most capped Player in One Day Internationals

On Friday, India took on England in the 1st ODI match of the 3 match series in Nagpur. This marked a record for the Indian skipper, Mithali Raj. India’s most well-known female cricketer became the most capped One Day player of all time. The match was her 192nd international game.
She broke England’s Charlotte Edwards, who retired in September 2017 with 191 ODIs under her belt. Another veteran player, Jhulan Goswami, is third on the list with 167 caps. Mithali holds the record for the most runs as well, with more than 6000 international runs in her career.
