Meet Sajan Prakash: His family is stuck in Kerala Floods, the young boy still accredited historical moment for India at Asian Games
Sajan Prakash has become first Indian swimmer in last 32 years to grab positioning amongst Asian best swimmers in the final of 200m butterfly category competition of the Asian Games, on Sunday.
We are here to congratulate the young lad for his phenomenal achievement. But the people who always stood up on edge with the boy are missing the chance to witness his competition on their television sets. As per the available reports, the family of Sajan Prakash has stranded in Kerala floods. Some family members of the youngster from the maternal side are still missing due to the mammoth flood in the region .
Prakash was totally unaware of the situation of Kerala till Saturday as his mother didn’t want him to lose his attention.
The brave boy in between of all this tussle clinched national record of 1 min 57.75s in the final showdown of the 200m butterfly.
Synopsis
Prakash in the past has also represented Indian consignment at the Rio Olympic 2016. In India he lives in Neyveli region of Tamil Nadu with his mother. While his maternal grandfather, uncle along with three of the other family members stay in Idukki, the most affected region of Kerala due to floods. All the other members of the young boy’s family are missing since Thursday.
His mother in an interview to the media told that some of the Indian mate at the Asian Games informed him about the devastating situations of Kerala and afterward it, he called her to know the situations.
