MC Mary Kom carries Indian flag in the Closing Ceremony at Gold Coast 2018

Boxer MC Mary Kom, India’s lone gold medallist in women’s boxing, capped off the 2018 Commonwealth Games by carrying the Indian flag in the closing ceremony. The closing ceremony was held at the Carrara Stadium.
India were placed third on the medal table with a medal count of 66 medals including 26 gold. It marked the end of 12 days of intense competition among 71 nations. Australia once again dominated the meet with 198 medals including 80 Gold.
