Mathura attains top spot in Inter-District Karate Championship

Mathura players dominated the Inter-District Karate Championship organised in the Meerut city. Six players of Mathura Extreme Karate Club grabbed the gold medal in the Karate championship, total 07 players of the same academy attained silver medal and 3 players marked their moves for bronze medal in the tournament.

The club was named as the best team of the championship for winning the highest number of medals in the Inter-District Karate Championship. Different participants from Mathura, Agra, Hathras, Aligarh, Ghaziabad, Meerut and other respective zones of the Uttar Pradesh region marked their participation in the Karate Championship.

Mathura’s Bharti Patel, Kanishka Singh, Rudransh, Mahatva Sharma, Sunil and Amita Patel aimed for gold in the championship. Surayash, Kashish, Yogesh, Dhruv Pandey, Rachna, Sameer and Vedansh Pandey on the other hand claimed silver in their individual matches.

Coaches Vikas Sharma, Hari Om Singh, Mukesh Kashyap, Rama Chaudhary, Kanchan Chauhan offered great wished great lock to all the winners of Inter-State Karate Championship.
