Manu and Saurabh bagged gold in 10m air pistol at 12th Asian Airgun Championship

Manu Bhaker and Saurabh Chaudhary pair bagged gold in 10m air pistol at the 12th Asian Airgun Championship in Taoyuan, Taipei yesterday. Their feat came exactly a month after they won the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup stage gold in the same event in Delhi. Manu, 17 and Saurabh, 16 shot a combined score of 784 in the qualification round, breaking the record set by Russians Vitalina Batsarashkina and Artem Chernousov at the European Championships five days ago. According to the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) the second Indian team of Anuradha and Abhishek Verma reach the finals and bagged 4th position with the score of 372.1.
