Ludhiana district Athlete meet concludes

The three-day annual Open Ludhiana District Athletics Meet organised by the District Athletics Association, Ludhiana, concluded at Guru Nanak Stadium, on Sunday in Ludhiana.
A large number of participants (boys and girls) competed in various track and field events in the U-14, 16, 18 and 20 categories, besides in the senior men and women’s sections. The position holders were given certificates. Officer-bearers of the organising association, along with coaches and other officials, were present on the final day.
Results
Triple jump (boys U-18): Harpal Singh of Malwa Khalsa Senior Secondary School first, Imroz Singh of GNPS second and Harshpreet Singh of Khanna third. Triple jump (boys U-20): Uday Bhaskar of Guru Nanak Stadium centre first, Vishal Kumar of Guru Nanak Stadium Centre second and Dharmpreet of Raikot third.
Long jump (boys U-16): Jashanpreet Singh of Manuke first, Rohit Singh of Malwa Khalsa School second and Piyush of BRS Academy third. Long jump (boys U-20): Dharampreet Singh of Raikot first, Harshdeep Singh of NM Jain School, Ludhiana second and Kunal Mehta of Ludhiana third.
Long jump (men): Pushpraj of Ludhiana first, Kulbhushan of PU second and Sagar of Arya College third.
Triple jump (girls U-18): Garima of Khalsa Senior Secondary School first and Simranjeet Kaur second. Triple jump (girls U-20): Gurveer Kaur of Ramgarhia Girls School first and Harmandeep Kaur of KCW second.
