Lakshya Sen ensures bronze medal in Asia’s Junior Badminton Championship

Lakshya Sen, representing the India’s legacy in the ongoing Junior Asia’s Badminton Championship in Jakarta has performed with full grace in the Quarter-Final match of Men’s single category.
In one of the most upside down match of the tournament Lakshya showed some magnificent skills in badminton game. The lad who was counted amongst the weak performer played for the pride of national side in the tournament and registered win against Shipheng the second seeded player from China.
In the quarter –final match, Sen dominated the game steadily and wins straight 2 sets of the match with scoreline 21-14 and 21-12 to rejoice his positioning in the semi-final stage. This performance now assured India at least bronze medal winner nation in the tournament. After receiving news about Sen’s great win, his coach and the nation expects Gold from the lad for the first time in Asia’s Junior Badminton Championship’s men single category.
