Lakshya Sen earns final spot in Asia’s Junior Badminton Championship

Sixth seed player Lakshya Sen representing the league of 125 crore Indians in Asia’s Junior Badminton Championship ongoing in Jakarta has registered his spot in the final line-up of the tournament. His unusual effort and graceful performance in the league has made the lad from India the overnight star of the badminton game.

In the semi-final match played on Saturday, Lakshya Sen played great set of game against fourth seed grade player Ikhsaan Lionardo Rumbe from Indonesia. The game sees nail-biting competition between Lakshya and Ikhsan, at end of the match Lakshya was standing on the winning side with scoreline of 21-7 and 21-14.

The grand final match of the tournament will be played on Sunday and we surely expect gold from the Indian lad who has achieved great advancement throughout the tournament. In the final Lakshya will try his hand and capability against top seed Thailand’s player Kunlawut Vitidarshan.
