KVM students shines at District swimming competition

Students of Kundan Vidya Mandir (KVM), Civil Lines, stamped their supremacy, reaping a rich haul of medals in the Ludhiana District Schools Swimming Competition, organised by the Education Department in Ludhiana at the Punjab Agricultural University Swimming Pool.
Ishaan Pawar, Ishaan Bahl and Akul Singhal in the boys U-17 category, Gurleen and Vedika in the girls U-17 section, while Kartikey and Parth in the boys U-14 group, Avneet Dhillon in the girls U-14 section and Tushali Lekhi in the U-19 years age group secured medals to bring glory to their school.
Ishaan Pawar proved his mettle, clinching three gold medals in the 400-metre and 800-metre freestyle in addition to the 200-metre backstroke events.
Similarly, Ishaan Bahl won three gold medals in the 100-metre, 200-metre breaststroke and 400-metre individual medley events.
Akul Sharma annexed gold medal in the 100-metre butterfly and silver medal in the 200-metre freestyle event while Kartikey fetched three gold medals in the 50-metre, 100-metre and 200-metre butterfly events.
Parth made his presence felt as he finished ahead of others to win the gold medal in the 50-metre breaststroke event.
Two other girls from the school finished at the victory podium. Avneet Dhillon won the gold medal in the 200-metre backstroke event while Tushali Lekhi clinched three gold medals in100-metre, 200-metre breaststroke and 100-metre butterfly events.
