Kothari International School shared ‘Overall Champion’ title with DPS Noida for CBSE North Zone-1 Swimming Competition 2018

Four Days CBSE North Zone Swimming Competition 2018 scheduled in Vidya Global School Baghpat Road, Meerut finally marks its end on Thursday. Swimmers of Noida region schools showcased splendid performances in all categories matches. Swimmers of DPS Noida, Kothari International School and Step By Step School majorly claimed their positioning for top three line-up of the podium.

Kothari International School of Noida region clinched overall champion title in Boys category and DPS Noida grabbed overall champion title in Girls Category of CBSE North Zone Swimming Competition.

North zone region swimmers majorly from Uttrakhand, Badaun, Baghpat, Bijnor, Bulandshahar, Gautam Budh Nagar, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Amroha, Meerut, Muradabad, Muzaffarnagar, Rampur, Saharanpur, Sambhal and Shamli district marked their presence in the competition.

Results of Day 04
The day started with 800m Free Style Girls Under 19 category event, Tejal Verma of DPS Noida claimed the top spot in the event followed by Deepa Yadav of Ecole Globale Girls Schoool Dehradun.

In 200m Butterfly Boys Under-17 category Rishyant Singh of DAV Public School Sahibabad attained the top position in the event and Mridul Sharma of Indraprastha Global School Noida settled for runner-up spot. The same event for Under 17 Girls announced Anamika Karna of DAV Public School Sahibabad as the winner and Paridhi Tyagi of Uttam School Ghaziabad grabbed the runner-up position.

200m Butterfly Event for Boys Under 19 named Aryan Gupta of Kothari International School Noida as winner and Udai Tulsian of Khaitan Public School Sahibabad as the runner-up. In Girls category of the same event Tejal Verma of DPS Noida named as the top performer followed by Nidhi Yadav of Dehradun Public School Ghaziabad.

Shardul Singh of Kothari International School achieved best timing in 100m Back Stroke Under 14 Boys category. With this win he grabbed overall 4 individual gold medals of the prestigious competition . Kabeer Bawa of Step By Step School Noida claimed the runner up spot in the competition. Girls category matches named Ananya Singh of DPS Greater Noida as the winner followed by Suhani Jain of Step By Step School Noida.

Aryan Nath of Step By Step School outshines in Boys Under 17 100m Back Stroke event while Garv Kumar of Kothari International School settled for runner-up spot. In the Girls Event of same category Arya Singh of DPS Noida attained top position and Krtvi Trehan of Step By Step School grabbed runner-up spot.

Rahul Lamba of DPS Noida attains best timing in Boys Under 19 100m Back Stroke event and Shashwat Chaube of Lotus Valley International School Noida was named as the runner up of the event. In Girls Category of same event Nidhi Yadav of Dehradun Public School Ghaziabad was best swimmer and Sanjami Arora of Kothari International School was the runner-up of the event.
