Khalsa College Amritsar grabbed winning title of 25th Nehru Girls Under 17 Hockey Cup

Khalsa College Senior Secondary School with great efforts of team players Neha Yadav and Simrahjeet Kaur grabbed the winning trophy of 25th Nehru Girls Under 17 Hockey Cup against Tikaram School, Sonipat.
In the final match the winning team grabbed win after lacking behind in the first few minutes of the game with 2-1 scoreline. Tannu of Sonipat School scored the only goal for the team. The Winning team of the tournament Khalsa College has been awarded Rs 1,60,000 cash prize as the token of appreciation.
On the other hand the runner-up team was awarded with Rs 96,000 cash prize for their marvelous game throughout the tournament.
Government School, Sector-18, Chandigarh wins the third spot of the tournament after crushing down Government Lalegunva High School, Mizoram with 2-1 scoreline.
