Kartik makes Noida proud in jiu jitsu

In the World Games Championship held in Dubai from 1st to 5th March, Noida found a hero. Kartik, who is ranked number one in India in the sport, surprised all when he finished third to bag the bronze medal in the Under-46kg category. The games, which are being held in Abu Dhabi, are the premier competition in the sport of Jiu Jitsu.
He was accompanied by his coach Amit Arora who congratulated the youngster on his achievement. He added that years of hard work had brought Kartik to this stage. This is his first international competition and finishing on the podium was an outstanding achievement.
Jiu Jitsu is considered one of the best forms of self-defence and is used to promote how weaker persons can combat stronger opponents.
