Junior World cup: Faridabad teen shoots at Silver & Bronze

In the Junior shooting World Cup in Germany, teen sensation from Faridabad Vibhuti Bhatia won a Silver and Bronze on Day2 of the Tournament. Vibhuti bagged Silver in 50 meter Air Pistol Team event and a Bronze in singles event.

Vibhuti is a student of Manav Rachna International School and lives in Sector-22, Faridabad. Vibhuti father Sanjay Bhatia told that she is currently studying in class 11th and is practising shooting since last 5 years at Manav Rachna Sports Academy.

Vibhuti was selected for the Junior World Cup on the basis of trials held at Karni Singh Shooting Range. Her father also added that Vibhuti ultimate dream is to win a medal at the Olympics. Vibhuti currently sits at No.2 position in youth category(All India ranking) and No.5 in Junior category (All India ranking).

Sure it was the day to rejoice for Vibhuti but all eyes are now on another teen from Faridabad, Adarsh who will take part in Sports Pistol and Rapid Fire Pistol category of this World Cup.

Adarsh has some genuine bright chance to secure another few medals for India and make his name at the big stage. Beside this, Adarsh will also take part in the senior World Cup which is set to be held in Brazil from 9th of August this year.
