Junior Ludhiana Baseball Tournament: Host Govt. School enters semis

Hosts Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Gill village, besides Ryan International School, Guru Nanak School, Janta Nagar, and Gill Baseball Club today entered the semi-finals in the 12th Junior Ludhiana District Baseball Tournament being played at Gill village near Ludhiana.
Sukhdev Singh Aulakh, general secretary, Punjab Baseball Association, inaugurated the tournament. Sixteen teams in the boy’s section and 10 in the girls section are taking part in the tournament.
In the girl’s section, BCM Senior Secondary School, Sector 32, prevailed over Shahi Sports Club, Samrala, 1-0 in which the all important score was made by Jasmeen.
In other matches, Ryan International School drubbed Joseph Public School 15-5; Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Gill village, routed RS Model School, Shastri Nagar, 10-4; Ryan International School piped BCM Senior Secondary School, Sector 32, 1-0; Gill Baseball Club scraped past Government High School, Sherpur, 7-6; and Ryan International School outplayed Government Senior Secondary School, Kasabad, 20-13.
