JRD Academy and Doon Warriors wins their Doon T-20 tournament matches

Uttrakhand T 20 tournament sponsored by Cricket Association of Uttarakhand commenced at the Doon Public School in Dehradun. On Monday, total 2 matches were played as part of the U 19 Rajendra Sports Championship Trophy.
The first match of the day offered equal chances to GRD Academy and R.R Pal Academy to reach the later stage of the tournament. In the match, GRD’s Akhilesh showcased all-round performance to credit the match in favour of GRD team. R.R Pal team batted first in the match and announced no wickets more with just 80 runs on board.
Chasing the target, GRD team played well throughout the second innings and registered 2 wickets win in the match.
Second match for the day was payed in between Doon Rider and Doon Warriors. After winning the crucial toss, Doon Riders offered 88 runs target for the later to win the match. In response to 88 runs, Doon Warriors won the match by achieving target with 8 wickets in hand. Vinnet along with Tushar and Manas were the top scorer for the side as they contributed 36, 19 and 15 runs to win the match.
