Rugby India in association with Societe Generale — one of the largest European financial services group — and Rugby Football Association, Chandigarh, will organise the Societe Generale Junior National Rugby Sevens Championship 2019 at Punjab University here from June 14-16.
A total of 24 states and affiliated units of Rugby India will participate in the championship, the organisers said here on Thursday.
“With 24 state teams in the boys’ category and 18 teams in the girls’ category, this event promises to showcase some brilliant rugby over the weekend,” said Rugby India general manager Naseer Hussain.
