J&K’s steady start against Assam

Only 18 overs were possible on the opening day of the Elite Group C match between Assam and Jammu and Kashmir.

At the Gandhi Memorial Science College Ground, Jammu, put into bat the host team lost opener Ahmed Banday’s wicket who scored 31. Pacer Arup Das took the lone wicket giving away 24 runs. Due to bad weather the day’s match had to be called off after 18th over.
