J&K Monsoon Open Karate Championship ends

Three-day long J&K Monsoon Open Cup Karate Championship 2019 organised by Nat Manch in association with World Modern Shotokan Karate Federation, J&K concluded at Modern Hall Satwari.

Founder President Nat Manch, Tarun Sharma was Chief Guest on the occasion, whereas Mahatma Tilak, Palvi Sharma, international player and first national gold medalist of Jammu and Kashmir State were Guests of Honour on the occasion who distributed prizes among the winners.

The Chief Guest also honoured the office bearers of the Association and technical officials of the championship by mementoes.

The event was held under the supervision of General Secretary of Karate Association of J&K and Joint Secretary of Karate Association of India, Ganesh Gupta.

Tarun Sharma said the youth must participate in Sports and if the Sports is like Karate it makes you mentally and physically fit for decades.

Tarun assured full support to the Karate Association of J&K and appreciated the efforts of the association for carrying out the event , which will provide exposure to youth.
