Jigisha clinches taekwondo gold

Jigisha Sharma of Tribune Model School has won a gold medal in the recently-concluded National Taekwondo Championship in Asansol, West Bengal.

Jigisha, who trains at Onyx Taekwondo Academy, topped the podium in the girls’ U-20kg category.

Coach Satinder Singh hailed young Jigisha’s performance and also revealed that his academy had won seven medals in the championship. and was awarded the best performance trophy.
