The second edition of the TAKE Open Golf Championship, featuring Jeev Milkha Singh and Jyoti Randhawa, will be played at the Chandigarh Golf Club from October 12–15.

The TAKE Open, the 13th event of the 2017 PGTI season, will have Rs 1 crore prize purse on offer.

Indian veterans Jeev Milkha Singh and Jyoti Randhawa as well as other leading players including Rashid Khan, Mukesh Kumar, Shubhankar Sharma, Khalin Joshi and Chiragh Kumar will be seen in action.

Jeev last played here during the PGTI Players Championship in March 2011.

“I first entered this club when I was eight years old and ever since then this place has given me the opportunity to follow my dreams of becoming a professional golfer, winning on the international stage and making the Indian flag fly high. So I can never forget my golfing home, the Chandigarh Golf Club,” he said.

The 45-year-old Jeev said that he is looking forward to playing alongside Jyoti in the same group.

“It’s always a pleasure playing with him. We’ve played a lot of junior, amateur and professional golf together, we know each other really well. Whenever we play together, we enjoy the moment and push each other to get the best out of ourselves,” he said.
