J.D. Academy wins Star Kabaddi tournament

Kabaddi is a sport which is an integral part of our culture. One of the most popular sports in rural India, it is slowly gaining prominence in cities as well. Ghaziabad played host to a 2-day Kabaddi extravaganza. Mother India School organised the first ever Star Kabaddi tournament on 21st and 22nd January. In the final, J.D. Academy beat Delhi’s Sadhbhavana Academy 22-20 to bag the title. The hosts Mother India School had to settle for third place.
Certificates and Trophies were given to the winners and the runners up. Cash prizes were given the four semi-finalists. The whole tournament was played with a spirit of sportsmanship and enthusiasm.
