Inter state Hockey; Pinana and Ifko set to clash in final

In the semi finals which were played on Sunday of Inter state hockey tournament, Sonipat’s Pinana and Delhi’s Ifko cruises to the final. The matches were played in Gurugram situated Government Senior Secondary School. This tournament is held by the ‘Raising Star’ association and is based on direct Knock-out round.
First Semi final was all Sonipat affair as team Sonipat clashed with team Piana from Sonipat. Match ended in hard fought 1-0 victory for Piana.
In the second semi-final team from Delhi, Ifko defeated Merrut in one sided match which resulted in 3-0 score line for Delhi’s team. Merrut was huge contender for the title and they were in great form before the semi-final and in early matches they defeated teams like Young Star by 2-1 and Bharosa Foundation 3-2 by ease.
