Inter-school competitions of Satwari Zone conclude: GGHSS girls clinch U-17 kho-kho trophy

Government Girls Higher Secondary School (GGHSS) girls clinched the under-17 kho-kho trophy after they outplayed Government Girls High School Sohanjana by one point in the Inter-school competitions of Satwari Zone organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) at Government Boys High School Jammu Cantonment, here on Saturdy.
The under-14 girls title went to Government Middle School (GMS) Bhure Chak, who beat DB Vidhya Mandir, Digiana by five points in the final.
The competitions in disciplines of volleyball, kho-kho and kabaddi organised under the overall supervision of Chanchal Kour, District Sports Officer Jammu concluded on Saturday.
The ZPEO Satwari, Poonam Kotwal was the Organising Secretary of the competition.
Today’s matches were officiated by Hardev Singh, Ravinder Singh, Gurbachan, Gurpreet Kour, Harwinder Singh, Vishal, Harpreet Kour, Jasvinder, Gourav, Dinesh and Kanchan Bala.
