Inter-school biz quiz held at Vivek High

Vivek High School, Chandigarh, hosted its first annual inter- school English debate and business venture competition wherein 16 schools from northern region participated in the two-day event.

The debate highlighted various topics, including climate change, Kashmir issue, banning online shopping and celebration of individualism. The business quiz witnessed students pitching their innovative ideas for start-ups.

Gautam Bose, CEO and Co-Founder, Greycells, conducted the quiz. The students were adjudged on the basis of originality, sustainability, marketing strategy, product differentiation and presentation followed by a question and answer round.
In business quiz, Suryaveer Bali of Vivek High School, Chandigarh, ranked first, while Ishaan Mahajan of Delhi Public School, Chandigarh, was declared runners up.

In debate, The Lawrence School, Sanawar, bagged the first prize. Vivek High School, Chandigarh, and St John’s High School, Chandigarh, ranked second and third, respectively. In English debate contest, The Lawrence School, Sanawar, won the trophy, while Scindia School, Gwalior, won the overall trophy.
