Inter-school Basketball: St. Anne’s girls overcomes KB DAV challenge

In the girls’ U-17 inter-school basketball tournament, St Anne’s School, Sector 32, registered a 26-11 win over KB DAV School, Sector 7 in Chandigarh.
Kunjal scored 16 points for St Anne’s, while Maheep netted six points for KB DAV School. Sacred Heart School, Sector 26, humbled DAV School, Sector 15, 18-7. Vidula gathered eight points for Sacred Heart, while Prabhnoor scored two points for DAV School. Bhavan Vidyalaya, Sector 27, registered a 21-3 win over St Marry School, Sector 46. Ujjvala (11 points) was the top scorer for Bhavan Vidyalaya. Gargi Singh was the lone scorer for St Marry. Carmel Convent School, Sector 9, downed Ryan International School, Sector 49, 33-11. Vijayanti alone scored 14 points for Carmel Convent. Manisha (four points) was the leading scorer for Ryan International.
Saupin’s School, Sector 32, defeated Gurukul Global, Mani Majra, 33-27. Jasleen (19 points) was the star performer for Saupin’s School. Amya netted 13 points for Gurukul Global. Dev Samaj School, Sector 21, overcame Government Girls Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 20, 16-8. Harleen netted 10 points for the Sector 21 outfit.
Guru Nanak Public School, Sector 36, beat Strawberry Fields School 33-10. Payal scored 13 points for Guru Nanak School. Vivek High School, Sector 38, registered a 23-8 win over GMSSS, Sector 33.
