Inter-School Archery: Tanishka bags 3 Gold

Tanishka Sareen, a student of Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School, Sector 26, won three gold medals in the recently concluded inter-school archery championship. Tanishka won all her three titles in the U-14 Indian round competition. While Tanishka scored 335 points to top the podium in the 30m contest, she gathered 331 points to rule the 20m category. With an aggregate of 666 points, Tanishka also claimed the overall title. Aayat of Carmel Convent School, Sector 9, finished second, while her schoolmate Priya bagged the third position. Last month, Tanishka had won three gold medals in the U-14 CBSE North Zone-II Championship at GCM Convent School, Sangrur.
