Inter district Wushu championship: Dibrugarh, Golaghat win titles

Dibrugarh won the taulo (routine) and Golaghat became champions in sanda (fighting) categories respectively in the 15th All Assam Junior (Boys and Girls) Inter District Wushu Championship which concluded at the Bishnu Rabha Kristi Sangha in Udalguri on July 31.
Altogether 269 players along with 40 officials from 26 affiliated districts took part in the championship
Dibrugarh won 14 gold, 2 silver to take top position while Biswanath Chariali with 8 gold and 1 silver came second. Hosts Udalguri stood third bagging 1 gold, 2 silver and 5 bronze medals.
In sanda category, Golaghat won 5 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze medals to claim first position while Dhemaji got 2 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze for the second place. Udalguri was the third team with 1 gold, 2 silver and 5 bronze medals.
