INTACH honours all the winners of quiz contest on topic ‘QUIT INDIA MOVEMENT

The Indian National Trust for Arts and Cultural Heritage (INTACH) has recently conducted a quiz competition on Quit India Movement and glorious Indian Heritage.
The main motive of the initiative by INTACH was to promote awareness amongst students from school about the India’s rich culture and to tell them about the sacrifices that our ancestors have done for our independence.
The function was commenced at the Kendriya Vidhyalaya No 1 in Jalandhar Cantt.
Maj Gen Balwinder Singh, VSM (Retd) in association with INTACH Doaba region organised the patriotic event. While speaking in the event, he focused on the point that youth should participate actively in activities like this to preserve our culture and national pride.
Around 75 teams from 15 schools enrolled their participation in the quiz competition. Tapann Soni and Vatsal Khanna from Police DAV School claimed the first prize in the event. Chandan and Gaurav of Kendriya Vidhyalaya Sarai Khas bagged the second position. Mandeep Singh along with Mohit from the Army Public School settled for the third spot and Saniya Arora and Abhinav Singh Khera of Police DAV School formed their line-up for the fourth spot.
