Victory is a medicine which the Indian women’s hockey team is quite used to it seems. In the 2nd match of the keenly watched hockey series between India and hosts South Korea, the visitors won by a margin of 3-2.

Poonam Rani opened the account for the women in blue in the 6th minute. Yurim Lee had other plans as she scored to level the two sides. Goals from captain Rani and Gurjit Kaur made quick work of the South Koreans. Jungeun Seo did score for the hosts but the visitors had the last laugh in the end.

India will play the same opponents in three more matches over the next week. Fans will be hoping for a 5-0 whitewash.
