Shashank Manohar not in running for ICC chairman:
- International Cricket Council chairman Shashank Manohar will not be in the running for a third two-year term in 2020
- Manohar has been the ICC chairman since 2016, and will bring his tenure to an end at the ICC annual conference at Cape Town in July
- Manohar had put down his resignation in March 2017 but he was re-elected in June 2018
- The new chairman will be elected by 15 directors who are a part of the board currently
Jamshedpur FC draws vs Chennaiyin FC:
- Jamshedpur FC and Chennaiyin FC had to settle for a point each at the end of an Indian Super League encounter which ended 1-1 at the JRD Tata Sports Complex in Jamshedpur
- Nerijus Valskis’ scored for visitors in the 26th minute. However, Jamshedpur denied Chennaiyin a win by coming up with an equaliser through Issac Vanmalsawma in the 89th minute
- Controversy as Isaac’s shot appeared to have hit Farukh Choudhary’s hand before deflecting into the back of the net for Jamshedpur
- With this draw, Jamshedpur find themselves in the fourth position with 12 points while Chennaiyin FC are still ninth with six points from seven games

Aizawl FC 1st victory in I-League:
- Aizawl FC overcame a spirited young Indian Arrows to register their first win of the I-League season at the Tilak Maidan in Goa

Asia Junior U-17 & U-15 C’ships:
- Players set for Asian Junior U-17 and U-15 Badminton Championships on Wednesday in Surabaya, Indonesia.
- In the last championships held in Myanmar in 2018, India returned with one gold medal when Gujarat’s Tasnim Mir and Meghana Reddy of Telangana had emerged champions is U-15 girls doubles
- The five-day competition, which is scheduled from December 11-15, will see India’s top junior national shuttlers vying for continental honors
No Commonwealth Shooting Championship in 2022:
- The Commonwealth Games Federation on Monday said there is no plan to have a Commonwealth Championship of shooting in India during the 2022 Birmingham Games
- The CGF said there was no formal proposal made to the ISSF to conduct a Commonwealth Shooting Championships when its chief Louise Martin and CEO David Grevemberg met the top brass of the world body on Friday in Munich
