Indian Runners put on a splendid display at the South Asian cross country ChampionshipMarch 28, 2018
Just ahead of the Commonwealth Games, 43 athletes including 16 women took part in the South Asian cross country championship in Thimpu, Bhutan on Tuesday. 7 countries took part in the competition which witness Bhutan’s participation for the first time in history.
India dominated both the men’s and the women’s section with Pradeep Singh Chaudhary winning the men’s 10km race and Sanjivani Jadhav winning the women’s 8 km event. India also won the team championship as well with Sri Lanka coming second and Bhutan placing third.
