India bags four silver and five bronze medals in World Junior Wushu TournamentJuly 16, 2018
India’s Wushu team has made the whole nation proud, as the junior team grabbed total 9 medals in 7th World Junior Wushu Championship organized from 10th July to 16th July in Brasilia, Brazil.
The young achievers from India; Babulu (48kg Junior), Saleem (56kg Sub-Junior), Savita (48kg Junior) and Rohit (80kg Junior) aimed silver in Sanshou game. Sanshou is a popular self-defense system and combat sport which is usually played in China.
The three bronze medal in the same event for India was won by Shruti (60kg), Himanshu (56kg) and Jahnvi (52kg Junior)
While talking about other events, like Talou (a Chinese form of Kungfu), Indian side celebrated great result for Karanjit and Jahnvi, both the player performed well to bring bronze medals for India.
