HVM wins Ludhiana zonal in Kabaddi

HVM Convent Senior Secondary School, New Subhash Nagar, has bagged gold medal at the Ludhiana Zonal Kabaddi Tournament, conducted at Guru Nanak Public School. The girls’ U-14 Kabaddi team clinched gold and the U-19 team secured silver. Girls from each category were selected for district teams. The U-17 boys’ team bagged bronze. DP Sharma, president of the school; and Dilbagh Singh, chairman, congratulated the students and their coaches.
Green Land wins 4 gold in karate: The karate-kas of Green Land Senior Secondary Public School, Jalandhar Bypass, have brought laurels to the school by bagging four gold two silver and three bronze at the second Punjab Open All-India Karate Championship 2019 organised by the Great School of Martial Arts at Dayanand Munjal Auditorium (United Cycles). Various schools from across the state participated in the championship. In the U-11 category, Gurnaaz has bagged gold. Shaksham and Vinay have won gold while Raghav bagged bronze in the U-12 category. In the U-14 category, Kartik has won gold, Bhavya and Jujhar scored silver, and Nikit and Utkarsh grabbed bronze.
