Hrithik Roshan pays tribute to mountaineer Arjun Vajpai

Arjun Vajpai, the third youngest Indian to climb Mount Everest, has been portrayed in an advertisement by none other than Hrithik Roshan himself. The 24 year old has many records to him name and has made the nation proud through his achievements. He is best known for creating history when he scaled an unexplored peak 6,180 metres high in Himachal’s Spiti Valley in 2015. He had named in Mount Kalam to pay homage to the late president of India, A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.
Hrithik Roshan too admitted that he was in awe of the young man and asked youngsters to take inspiration from his feats. “Arjun is a true inspiration. It is my privilege to partner with Mountain Dew to bring his story to life on the screen”, he said.
Arjun’s next mission is to conquer Mount Kangchenjunga. Hrithik Roshan wished him the best for his endeavours, “I salute his courage and wish him luck as he gets set to conquer Mount Kangchenjunga”. Only 32 people have managed to complete the True Explorers’ Grand Slam- climbing the 14 highest mountains in the world. If Arjun completes the feat, he will be the first Indian to do so. All his countrymen will be waiting with bated breath as the Noida resident aims to scale new heights. He studied at Ryan International School and took up the sport at a very young age.
