Hoopers put up a show at BCM school, Ludhiana

The Under-19 Sahodaya School Complex Basketball Tournament was declared open at BCM School, Chandigarh Road, Ludhiana by the manager of the school, Prem Kumar. In this two-day event, a total of 26 teams of boys and girls from various schools of the city will compete with each other for the champions’ trophy.
On the opening day, chief guest Monika Dua, principal, BCM College of Education, received the guard of honour. She encouraged players to play fair. Every player gave a neck-to-neck competition to their rivals. The teams who made it to the semi-finalists are GGN Public School; NSP School, Gill Park; Delhi Public School; BCM School, Chandigarh Road; Guru Nanak Public School, Sarabha Nagar; Sacred Heart, BRS Nagar; BCM Arya Model School, Shastri Nagar; and Police DAV Public School under the boys’ team.
In the girls’ category, Police DAV Public School; BCM School, Chandigarh Road; Guru Nanak Public School, Sarabha Nagar; and DAV, Pakhowal Road, will face each other in the semis. DP Guleria, principal of the host school, appreciated the strenuous efforts of the players and congratulated the semi-finalists.
